There are default features to create ‘Total & Subtotal’ in the tools like Excel, Power BI, and Power Pivot. But Power Query doesn’t have any default UI feature to create ”Total & Subtotal’ . In this post, we will be creating ”Total & Subtotal” in Power Query. There are two parts to the video. In part 1 we will discuss the logic behind solving the problem. We will also know the mechanics & how to approach the problem from a very basic understanding to a deeper level. In part 2 we will see how can we apply the solution we have built in our data!
